No surprises this time round. Just us and the ppl close to our hearts. I had planned a camping outing for 2 days and 1 nite at Pasir Ris Park but hubby was not for the idea. He knew I was not the type who will feel comfortable sleeping in a tent,out under the open sky. He also worry for his princess. The weather been very bad too!!! How could we have bbq outdoor, rite?
So I had to cancel everything and decided to just have a simple birthday celebration for my love. He got three presents from me this year. 1) 2 Liverpool car sunshades & 1 Liverpool mini-banner (Thank you to ma bestfren who's in UK,she got them for me at a very good price!). 2) A cool-looking shades (which he likes to put on his head like a GAYBOY!). 3) Taufik Batisah new album (which is now over-played in the car! Argh!!!).
Happy birthday,sexy,buncit toyboy of mine...may you be blessed with good health and have a GREAT 2007 ahead of you.

When I was young,my grandparents were the one who would bring me out during the holidayzzz...I have alwayz lurve the holidays cos that's when I would be pampered and treated like a true princess!!! 
I miss those precious time, so the only way to bring it back is to bring my grandparents out and this time they are the royalties!!! They are driven around and treated to a yummylicious meal,I must say. I had a big headache trying to get a good place to bring them(balanced and healthy diet is important for old ppl).
My granny likes to try a new place and my grandpa prefers rice than any other kind of food.
So I had to cancel Fig&Olive(which serve healthy food!) and settle for the Banquet instead at Vivocity.
They have a variety of dishes that cater to old folks' tastebuds, I guess.
We had fun. My grandpa bz telling his stories of war times to hubby,on how he witnessed torture and hardship.
While my granny,me and aunty saba went window-shopping. Everything that I touched,my granny and aunty would say that it's too expensive,don't waste money. Hehehe...I guess old ppl are thriftier that us,ya!

School holiday is the only time I can make up to my daughter for neglecting her and putting work first before her. Sometimes I feel that I have not been a GREAT mother...a good one,ya,but not a FANTASTIC one...someone who is there 24hrs fer her...who cook and bathe her...wish I could but well,I guess you gain some and you lose some in life....
Hubby will alwayz console me by reminding me that we work hard,very hard in fact to satisfy her material needs...Now that Sherlita have started "school" (weekend session at Tumbletots), it gives me a sense of satisfaction that her emotional and social needs are being met. And the best part of the programme is that,parent is required to accompany the child thru out the session...parent-child bond is VERY IMPORTANT...i sure glad I put her in Tumbletots though it's more expensive than the other school I called up, it's all worth it!
Me and hubby took turns to be with her during the 45-min session. This holiday gave us quality time together,not only the 3 of us but time to catch up with our parents and grandparents too...cousins,aunties and uncles,all included! Not forgetting frenzzz too! It's been great fun! Wished it will never end....
